Programme

Day 1: Iași – Cluj – Rimetea – Turda
Meeting at 01:00 at the Palace of Culture (Iași), departure at 01:30 from Iași towards Cluj – Rimetea – Turda.

Day 2: Cluj – Rimetea – Turda

Cluj-Napoca:

• Central Park: An oasis of greenery with a lake and gazebo, a perfect place to relax. It is also home to the Casino, a historic building that hosts a social venue.
• St. Michael's Church: A fine example of Gothic architecture in the city centre. It is a symbol of Cluj, with a tower 80 m high.
• Museum Square: The birthplace of Cluj, home to the National Museum of Transylvanian History and the Carolina Obelisk, a monument dedicated to the visit of Empress Maria Theresa.
• Botanical Garden: Home to more than 10,000 plant species from around the world, its phytogeographic section takes you on a journey through different corners of the globe.

Rimetea:
A traditional village known for its white houses, which reflect the architectural style of the area. It received the Europa Nostra award for cultural heritage conservation and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Romania.

Turda:

• Turda Gorge: Formed by the erosion of limestone, the gorge offers spectacular scenery, with rock walls rising up to 200 m. The area is a natural habitat with a great diversity of plants and animals.

Day 3: Turda Salt Mine – Târgu Mureș – Iași

Turda Salt Mine:
A salt mine turned into a renowned tourist attraction, Turda Salt Mine houses a mining museum and is known for its unique facilities, including an underground amusement park, a salt lake and a Ferris wheel.

Târgu Mureș:

• Medieval citadel: Built in the 15th century, the fortified citadel is a symbol of Târgu Mureș, with 7 bastions and a museum of the city's history that can be visited inside.
• Ascension Cathedral: Imposing in size, it is the largest place of worship in the city, built in Neo-Byzantine style.
• Annunciation Church: A copy of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, housing valuable frescoes and icons.
• Historic Centre: A walk through the city's old streets, among Baroque and Neoclassical buildings such as the Palace of Culture and the Franciscan Tower.

Arrival in Iași during the night, depending on weather conditions, traffic and customs formalities.

If a client is travelling alone and has not paid for a single room, they will be placed in a room with another tourist or tourists. If by the day of departure the travel company has no other solo clients who paid the standard price, the client must pay the single room supplement.
